Link to your armory profile and also please describe any other gear that you have for raiding. I have 4 80s (technically 6), but 3 that are on my main account (5 on Arthas server). The main character I'm applying with is Sernius, although you may want to check Fireembrace as the resto shammy is what I used to raid on before my sabbatical from wow during last summer.

What is your preferred spec and are you willing to respec to fit the guild's needs? I'd prefer to be a tank, or a healer. I've been gearing up mainly for tanking. I feel tanks and healers are more crucial to content (mathematically speaking this is true just considering the ratio of tanks/healers/dps). I am very skilled in this game and have been playing since a month after release. I'm very into theorycrafting, and min/maxing the crap out of my characters. You can see that most of my gear is itemized. I've been gemming with set bonuses for the most part just to get the most out of everything, but i'll likely regemm to pure stam (sans gems required for meta gem) when necessary.
What stats to you prioritize for? In addition please give an example of your most used spell or your spell rotation for healing and/or DPSing.
Defense to cap, then prioritizing stamina. I've been making sure my gear has decent dodge/parry/block also. I'm not the type of person that puts one stat above all others. I prefer to be more rounded. I don't judge a tank based on their max HP or a healer based on their SP.
I haven't raided with the tanking pally yet (although i've done pally healing on my 2nd lvl80 pally on another account). My rotation would be similar to heroic grinding, but obviously depends on the encounter. On a boss fight i'd probably start with putting ondivine plea, holy shield, then reckoning the boss, avengers, shield of righteousness, Judgement of mana/light (depending on how much dmg i know i'll be taking - more dmg - light...less dmg - mana), then hammer. If the boss has adds, i do hammer after avengers shield and throw consecration after hammer of righteousness if i have to mov to them. if they move to me i put on consecration before pulling them. I never have issues with threat or keeping aggro on any of the heroics so far (Pit of saron after ick, gauntlet, H Halls of Reflection etc). yay for holy wrath, eh?
Learning PVE encounters can take a lot of time to learn. Do you have a problem with wiping and learning encounters?
I like raiding because of the fun and because of the challenge. Wiping is all part of the challenge.
How do you take criticism about your class and your performance in raids? I used to be an assistant manager at walmart before my current position as a computer programmer. I wouldn't have been able to make it a week as an assistant manager had i not been able to take criticism well.
Why did you choose Rogues take zero skill over the other guilds of Arthas? I went through the guild progress until i found a guild that i know i can meet the raiding schedule 100%. I dont know much about the raiding guilds on arthas. I tried 'has a bucket' for a couple of weeks (them knowing i couldn't make fridays because of RL), but unfortunately they never did their monday raids and only did their wednesday raids half the time while i was in it. I didn't have a problem with the guild other than that. I was on my resto shammy - fireembrace.
What is your previous guild history? Why did you leave? [IN DEPTH] You can find my arthas guild history up there. When i came back to the game after taking summer off, i wasn't going to raid. I came back because my gf was interested in trying out wow. Needless to say, she's now addicted. She's a lvl80 holy paladin. She can heal the shit out of anything (i've taught her everything i know about healing and i'm right next to her to communicate any problems in the encounters). I'd like her to join up (although she's not available until at least 9cst because of work). Anyways, i was a guild's main healer on Drak'tharon, called Odyssey. I realized i had no life at all so i quit wow last May. 3 weeks later the guild disbanded (I'm not saying my departure was related... I don't really know the reasons). We were up to Mimiron in Ulduar. We were in the top 8 on the server.
What raid experience do you have pre-BC, TBC, and in WOTKL? Please be detailed. Started raiding in BC, a couple months before wotlk hit. Since wotlk i hit 80 in 6 days on my resto shammy, and hit [Epic] gear level a week later. I've done all naxx/maly/sarth (2 drake only)/ulduar up to mimiron/TOTC (not grand). I normally learn and memorize a boss fight in the first two minutes. I always read up on new bosses online first and watch a video if needed (although you can normally figure it all out just by reading the strat). I never stand in crap, and don't do any other stuff that Failbot would call someone out for. I haven't been as interested in shammy healing since I've had trouble healing the latest heroics - i've preferred the pure burst of pally healing since then considering i can heal the same heroic with half the gear.
What do you feel you can bring to Rogues take zero skill? Why should we accept you in our ranks? I can bring the experience of 3 healing classes, and 2 tanking classes. I've dpsed on all of those classes, although I normally and pretty bored by DPSing. I was always topping charts in dps in the top 5 of 25 men, even though most of my gear was resto (on fights where i'm not required to do something else like dispel etc - as that is my priority on fights like that).
With 25 man raids, spots are very competitive and generally are given to the highest performed players. Are you willing to compete for your spot? Are you willing to sit at times? We treat trials with respect and skill is always > seniority.
I don't have a problem with that. If i don't have the skill i dont want to be in the raid.
Post a screenshot of your UI. Preferably in a raiding environment but if one is not available at least describe where raiding things would be.
I'm filling out this app at work, because i wanted to get it in within plenty of time for a raid tonight IF I were needed tonight. I can post a screenshot when i get home. I can explain most of my UI. I try to use a standard UI for the most part, except i use mods like dbm/omen/grid/clique/recount/pallypower/ (edited here) and power auras. I use a lot of other mods, but these are the most essential for raiding. I enjoy making macros, and i have an 18 button mouse to play around with (for things like a druid's large healing arsenal).
My favorite latest macro was to combine Maul with swipe, lacerate, and mangle. It seems kinda stupid constantly bashing maul on a bear tank while bashing the other skills. I always want to maul while tanking on a bear.
I've also made macros lately for my girlfriend in regards to sacred shield, beacon which makes decisions based on having a focus or not and alt modifiers. I've also done similar things for judgement so she can just hit hte judgement button regardless of what she's targetting. It's a different macro than wowwiki as i found that to be incomplete.

Here are some specific PVE questions:
1. Which target must the DPS switch to when Lord Marrowgar casts Bone Spike Graveyard and why? Haven't done ICC, but i read the boss fight last week. The bone spike is the thing that props the dps up. They can't move during that time, and take 10% of their health as dmg every tick. The biggest problem is they can still get hit by everything else, including that ground ice wave (don't remember skill name and i'm not cheating by looking at an online resource). If they get a wave going through them they're gonna need hardcore heals to survive that. Also they could get hit during bonestorm.
Once again, i've never been in ICC.
2. What must you do when you get the Blood Nova debuff on the Deathbringer Saurfang encounter? I haven't read this fight yet.
3. Why must Shadow Strike be interrupted on the Anub'arak (Heroic) encounter? I haven't done heroic. Also, my TOTC was from a healing perspective.
4. During Anub'arak (Heroic) how many Permafrost are you limited to per Submerge phase? I haven't done heroic. Also, my TOTC was from a healing perspective.
Tank set seems a bit low for the content were on, and the low experience as well. Recruitment officer will review this sometime today, but keep working on that gear bro.
If all you're doing right now is ICC and TOTGC I'd definitely agree I'm not geared enough to raid that. I have every item (except a shield and ring) that's the best i can get without frost gear or stepping into a raid at the moment. I'm certainly not worried about learning 9 new fights considering the mechanics of fights are really not difficult to get. The gear parity is definitely an issue though for ICC25 (although wow heroes suggests I can do ICC10).
Hey man, seems like a pretty solid app. But like magic said your gear is abit low. And all were doing atm is ICC25. And seeing as we just recruited a new tank and are sitting at 3 in an instance that requires only 2 usually, and are overflowing with healers. I would say you can get a backup at best. But im not an officer, hopefully they will post back to this.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to find something that fits the schedule I want (which currently matches perfectly to your raiding schedule) that may still be doing reg TOC10/25 or ICC10. I may even try to pug some raids (/em shudders at the thought). When I get better gear, I may post another app here linking to this current thread.
