World of Roguecraft - Episode 1
World of Roguecraft was filmed in patches 1.10 - 1.11 prior to the rogue class review of 1.12.
Video was recorded on three characters. The first rogue used was Mute's rogue Kishkumen. Kishkumen was featured
in all of the dialog and the rogue video. The second was my own rogue. This rogue was used in the naked fights.
He was equipped with a zero stat set of armor and had no guild. This was to disguise Mute's identity and hide
the fact that he was naked. Few people on Arthas were anxious to fight a naked rogue. The third rogue was
Castorius, who kindly allowed us the use of his account. All three rogues were played by Mute on the US Arthas
server.

The attitude of rogues; Prior to the rogue review of 1.12, the whining of rogues
reached an all time peak (that's saying a lot). They ignored every strength and exaggerated every
weakness. In their minds, rogues were broken. And they could not stand it if
anyone disagreed. We responded to their attitude, and explained why many of them
were having difficulty.
The reason behind cooldowns; Rogues claimed that all cooldowns were required to beat any
opponent. They claimed that it was impossible to win except once per 5 minutes. They demanded
their cooldowns be lowered to allow their use against every opponent. We responded
to the stupidity by demonstrating the insane power having every cooldown gave them. If rogues were
able to use their cooldowns every fight (as they had in world pvp) they would be absurdly overpowered.
Scaling with gear; Rogues claimed they did not scale with gear. They pointed to Eviscerate
as their example. They ignored white damage, sinister strike, backstab, and the rest of a rogue's dps.
If rogues did not scale with gear, an epic rogue would not have been able to compete with other classes in epics.
Mute demonstrated pvp with an epic rogue, and showed exactly how well they scaled.
Mute got nearly every high ranked and well known person on the server at that time. This was an enormous time
investment but we thought it was worth it to completely counter the claims that the fights were lucky or staged.
But still, rogues claimed that the fights were staged. As if dozens of rank 14's would risk ruining
their reputation to be in Roguecraft, or as if Mute got lucky on all every fights. This proved that the rogue
accusations against our videos had never been honest, but were only made in an attempt to discredit the other points.

Rogue Accusations
These are not rare accusations. They are extremely common complaints made by rogues. We have heard these
same accusations repeated over 2 years by a vast number of rogues.
